Tamsyn White

Tamsyn is a warm, practical, and highly experienced Psychologist who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families to better understand their strengths, challenges, and support needs. With over 20 years in the field, she is passionate about helping the people she works with feel seen, heard, and understood - especially those who may experience the world differently due to neurodivergence, learning difficulties, or emotional distress.

In addition to her therapeutic work, Tamsyn is skilled, compassionate, and experienced in designing and delivering comprehensive psychological assessments, including for Autism, ADHD, learning differences, and mental health concerns. Her approach is clear, compassionate, and collaborative – empowering individuals and families with the knowledge and tools they need to access support at home, school/work, and in the community.

In therapy, Tamsyn draws on a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), play-based interventions, and EMDR Therapy. She works flexibly and creatively to meet each individual where they’re at, always tailoring support to their individual needs and goals.

Tamsyn is committed to neurodiversity-affirming practice and believes that assessment and therapy should be strengths-focused, respectful, and grounded in real-world relevance. She considers herself a life-long learner.

Tamsyn is also a Psychology Board of Australia (PBA) Approved Supervisor and welcomes enquiries from provisional or registered Psychologists seeking supervision tailored to assessment practice, therapeutic work with children, adults, and families, or professional development, particularly in private practice settings.

In addition to her therapeutic work, Tamsyn is the Assessment Team Lead at Melton Psychology Clinic, where she supports a team of clinicians to deliver high-quality, sustainable, and meaningful psychological services.
