Jay Bhamre
SPEECH PATHOLOGIST
(Fluent in Hindi & Marathi)
Jay is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) who completed his Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Pathology in India and his Master of Speech Pathology at Flinders University. He works with clients across the lifespan from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, with particular interest in acquired language disorders (aphasia), cognitive-communication disorders (CCD), and motor speech disorders. Jay combines evidence-based practice with a functional, client-centred approach to therapy, focusing on communication skills that support real-life participation, independence, and improved quality of life.
He has experience working in multidisciplinary settings supporting neurodivergent clients and values flexible, collaborative therapy tailored to each individual’s needs and goals. He is also passionate about community service and has been honoured for providing free clinical services at National Health Mission’s Epilepsy camps in India.
Jay speaks English, Hindi, and Marathi. Outside of work, he enjoys dancing, writing hip-hop raps, long drives, gaming, playing sports—especially football (soccer)—and exploring new places to eat.
