Naomee Golluccio
PSYCHOLOGIST
Naomee is a registered general psychologist with several years of experience working across a variety of settings, including private practice, forensic environments, and multidisciplinary teams. She is currently completing further postgraduate studies in clinical psychology to enhance her capacity to support clients with more complex and diverse needs.
Her current focus is on supporting children, adolescents, and their families. She is passionate about taking a strengths-based approach that focuses on helping young people build resilience, improve emotional regulation, and develop the skills they need to navigate challenges with confidence. She supports clients with a range of concerns, including anxiety, behavioural difficulties, and social skill development, and works collaboratively with families, schools, and other systems to promote consistency and positive change.
Her practice is grounded in a client-centred philosophy, where therapy is tailored to the goals, values, and developmental stage of each individual. She draws from a range of evidence-based therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Therapy, all while grounded in a trauma informed approach. Her aim is to create a warm and supportive space where clients feel heard, empowered, and equipped with practical tools for long-term wellbeing.
Naomee is currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology (Post Registration) to obtain clinical endorsement with the Psychology Board of Australia
More about me…
What do you hope clients feel when they walk into a session with you?
I want clients to feel not only comfortable, but truly seen, heard, and validated. To feel like their experiences matter and this is a safe space to explore them as a team. I am here to hear it.
What’s something you’ve learned from your clients that has stuck with you? I’ve learned that clients are the true experts in their own world. No matter how many books I’ve read or trainings I’ve completed, the real power lies in their lived experience.
What’s something outside of work that brings you joy or helps you recharge? My dog- she is the goofiest most talkative pooch and after a big day at work, she knows just how to reground me by making me laugh.
How would you describe your style or approach in sessions? Curious and compassionate. I work from the belief that it’s not about ‘what’s wrong with you’ but ‘what has happened to you.’ Through curiosity, I seek to understand each client’s experiences and how these have shaped them, rather than reducing them to problems that need fixing
