More about me…
What inspired you to pursue a career in your field of allied health/psychology?
I have always had a great sense of curiosity about people and how their experiences have impacted on their day to day lives. I was drawn to social work as it encourages you to meet people where they are in life and explore ways for them to develop more agency.
What do you hope clients feel when they walk into a session with you?
I hope to invite a sense of openness in sessions that leaves all judgments at the door. Ideally, client’s will feel comfortable and relaxed to be able to share their struggles,as well as their strengths and goals for the future.
What’s your guilty pleasure show, podcast, or snack?
I’m embarrassed to admit that i’m completely enthralled with Love is Blind on Netflix.
If you could have any superpower to help your clients, what would it be and why?
It’s not a superpower, but I would love to gift all my clients with unconditional self-compassion to support them throughout their healing and as a tool to utilise long after their therapeutic support.
